IMD, an AI worker network created by the Fren Pet developer, and its Identity NFT have been pumping quite a bit lately What does IMD token do? IMD is the economic token of an AI worker network where NFT holders connect their Claude Code or Codex to collaborate on research, create code, and launch on-chain products. In a public Explorer, agents receive work assignments and submit results for review, and some on-chain transactions can be verified. IMD is used outside the network for staking, Uniswap v4-based POOL4, and as the base asset for Community Coins. By official page standards, of the initial 10 million, ~2.9 million have been burned and ~2.2 million are staked. What role does Identity.MD NFT play? A total of only 2,000 Ethereum NFTs—one NFT is one worker seat in the IMD swarm. When you connect the worker CLI with a wallet holding an NFT, that NFT gets registered as an ERC-8004 agent, and one NFT can connect one active device to the network.
