    [Thousands of wallets lost $20 million worth of XRP in D'CENT app hack] According to Beincrypto, a recent hacking attack targeting the D'CENT Wallet self-custody app resulted in approximately 11.7 million XRP (about $20 million) being stolen from thousands of user wallets. Citing on-chain forensics analysis from XRPL.to, the outlet reported: "The attacks occurred six times between September 15 and 20. Using stolen private keys, attackers withdrew XRP from a total of 6,678 wallets and deleted 5,001 accounts to secure account reserve balances. Of the stolen XRP, approximately 5.6 million XRP was moved to Ethereum (ETH) via Thorchain (RUNE), with funds also dispersed through exchanges like Binance and other services."
